We are looking for someone who has strong analytical capabilities, high attention to detail and able to work independently. As a Business Development Manager, you will be based out of their office in Penang, Malaysia. You will be expected to be performing this role on a full-time basis and will report to the CEO.

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to:

  • Generate new revenue and accounts
  • Win and close new businesses
  • Achieving growth and hitting assigned sales targets
  • Frequently in sales activities like cold calling and new client meetings
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, tactics, plans, processes, systems and programs
  • Build, implement and maintain a strong and high performance sales culture
  • Take initiative to identify and drive improvements at individual level
  • Define, track and report on sales performance metrics to the management team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations and marketing
  • Act as an internal partner advocate

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Track record of personally closing complex deals end-to-end
  • Possesses a talent for responding effectively to market direction, customer needs and competitive positioning
  • Can thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail and good follow-through
  • Passion for EasyParcel’s mission and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
  • Extremely proactive, self-starter with strong project management and execution skills
